Having been brought up in her family’s Antique Jewellery business, Keystone Antiques, Heather can boast over 30 years in “the trade”. Whilst still retaining an interest in that business, which is situated on the same premises, she has also worked as an Independent Gemmologist and Jewellery Appraiser since 1979.

She has acted as a consultant to the Antique Trade, Auction Houses, Independent Jewellers, Trading Standards, Insurance Companies and the Legal Profession, in addition to carrying out private valuations. She has also written features on jewellery related matters for various publications. Heather is also a regular attendee of Jewellery Exhibitions, Seminars and Conferences of relevant Professional Bodies and Trade Organisations, and is committed to jewellery education and training.
